A large and high‑quality field made the journey from all four corners of the UK to Blackmore, Essex, to take on the infamous Vipers - the iconic home circuit of the Shaftesbury Cycling Club. With riders aged from 13 to 82, the event showcased the full breadth of British time trialling talent on a beautiful, sunny spring day.

A fast start and a fluid leaderboard

Shaftesbury CC’s own Mark Billyard, wearing number 1, set the early benchmark and led the field for the first hour. As the pre‑race favourites began to roll through, the leaderboard became a constant carousel of changing positions.

Thanks to CTT|Live, results streamed into HQ in real time, drawing crowds of riders and spectators who gathered around screens to watch the drama unfold.
