Superb racing conditions greeted riders for this year’s Stafford RC Reg Pearce Memorial Race on the K48/10. Blue skies, light winds and a balmy 18 degrees made for a perfect spring afternoon on a course known for its four testing hills and 111 metres of elevation. With fast roads and a friendly atmosphere, the stage was set for some outstanding early‑season performances.
Overall Results
The standout ride of the day came from Thomas Bill (Stafford RC), who stormed around the course in 20:06, an exceptional time on such a rolling profile. His ride secured him the overall win and the honour of lifting the Reg Pearce Memorial title.
In the women’s categories, Sophie Anthoney (Stafford Road Club) delivered a superb performance to take fastest woman, made even more impressive by the fact she is a junior riding a road bike. The fastest woman on a TT bike was Deborah Sheridan (a3crg), adding another strong ride to her long list of achievements.
The fastest youth on the day was Loic Foskolos (Rugby RCC), while fastest man on a road bike went to Brad Devine‑Jenkins (Solihull CC) — an outstanding result in his first ever open time trial, marking a very promising debut.

A Great Day for the Club
The event ran smoothly thanks to the hard work of Stafford RC volunteers, timekeepers, marshals and organisers who ensured a safe and enjoyable race for all competitors. The day concluded with prize presentations, including a photo of overall winner Thomas Bill (Stafford RC) receiving his award from Alastair Semple, President of Stafford RC.
A big thank you to all riders for supporting the event - and congratulations to every category winner. We look forward to welcoming everyone back for next year’s edition.
