Kernow Racing Team hosted their annual Ladies Only Time Trial on Wednesday evening, and the event could not have asked for better conditions. Bathed in glorious sunshine, riders of every level took to the course-complete beginners lining up alongside seasoned racers, and everything from hybrid bikes to full TT rigs on display.
One of the core aims of this event is to encourage more women into the time‑trialling scene, and this year delivered in style. Many participants were tackling their first ever race, embracing both the challenge and the warm, social atmosphere that has become a hallmark of this event.
Generous support from Nopinz, Magicshine, and Baked by Kerris added an extra buzz to the evening, with several first‑time riders taking home spot prizes. But the real highlight was the sea of smiles as every rider crossed the finish line-proof that the spirit of the event is as strong as ever.
