Welcome to this the fourth in the series of bulletins, produced to keep all riders and those interested in cycling abreast of what is happening within the Teesside district and surrounding areas.
IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT – Entry Fee Discount
At a recent committee meeting, discussion took place on how the Teesside district could attract increased participation in time trials. Whilst some new competitions, and a new hill climb championship have been introduced, it was felt that in this cost of living crisis, an initiatives should be introduced to try and reduce all rider’s costs.
In meeting this challenge, a number of clubs have agreed to “DISCOUNT” the entry fees to their events for 2023.
The entry fees on the following events have been “DISCOUNTED”to £10:
07/05/23 Stockton Wheelers CC event, Including Tandem event
21/05/23 Hartlepool CC/ VTTA North event, including Tandem event
25/06/23 Hartlepool CC/ VTTA North event, including Tandem event
16/07/23 Stockton Wheelers CC event ,Including Tandem event
06/08/23 Cleveland Coureurs CC/VTTA North event, including Tandem event.
To accommodate this discounted entry fee, there will be no awards or prizes at each of the above events. There will however be the normal (and in some cases enhanced) drinks and snacks available wherever possible, at the event headquarters.
Any rider who has already entered will receive the difference returned on the day of the event.
