We are really happy to announce that the Hartlepool Cycling Club have come forward to support this inaugural
North Juvenile/Junior 10 mile Championship to be held at Croft Wednesday 20th July 2022
by sponsoring the awards to winners of each of the categories and the age awards.
Awards
The fastest rider of the time trial and road bike category (both boy & girl) will each receive a personalized engraved plaque.
Each age winner (time trial and road bike category) will receive a personalized engraved medal (again both boys & girls) – age 6 year up to 17 years.
The results will be published on the Teesside district website & Facebook page later in the evening when they have been ratified
All competitors taking part in the championship will receive, when signing on and receiving their number, a Cycling Time Trials Centenary medal. (this to celebrate 100 years since the first official time trial took place in England)
Timings – Sign on starts at 5:15pm
Circuit open for warm up after 5:45pm - 6:30pm
First riders will start at 6:30pm. Each rider will leave the timekeeper at 30secs intervals.
After the first rider starts, warm up can continue on the circuit’s airstrip/runway.
Entry Details - This event is being run in conjunction with our monthly Wednesday night “Come & Try It” event.
Cost – entry fee is £5.
(16 & 17 year olds who enter on-line and are over 16, will be re-imbursed £3 on the evening)
You can enter on arrival on the evening and pay by either cash or card
Reminder – The course is on a fully closed motor racing circuit at Croft, North Yorkshire.
The road surface is super smooth tarmac.
IN COMMON WITH ALL MOTOR RACING CIRCUITS, NO ANIMALS ARE ALLOWED ENTRANCE
TO THE CIRCUIT.
What do I need – a road worthy machine, (road, time trial, mountain, cyclocross & gravel)
a helmet
a working front & rear light.
