Steve Walker, Chairman CTT Midlands District, sends the following message:

"CTT Midlands DC has circulated the Organisers and Clubs with the required form for 2025 Open TT (Type A) applications. We do not currently feature either a Hillclimb or anything other than 10 mile TTs for much of the season, Banbury Star's  early season hilly event being one exception. If Clubs could look into the possibility of running either of these distances (Hillclimb, 25) then we would have a more varied choice. I know it's not always practical, traffic conditions etc make things difficult, but if you know of any course that could fit the bill, we are here to help and guide you through the processes."

Attached please find the application form for CTT Open Events in 2025.  Please accept my apologies for the late request for this information, which most of you are aware would usually have been out several weeks ago, however we have been waiting on final instructions from the Board of CTT.  

Sheila Hardy, Secretary (Open Events) has circulated a form to all clubs, and is this is also available to download from the CTT website. Sheila writes:

Please ensure you read the notes that appear on/with the form as they contain important information.  You will note that the application form itself is a little different to last year and it requires you to complete ALL sections that apply to your event.  You are asked NOT TO USE any previous event application forms, and you do not need to send a seperate form for multi events, it should all be included on one form.  If you wish to give your event a title, eg Joe Bloggs Memorial Event, etc, you can now do so.   

PLEASE RETURN THE FORM TO sheilactt@sky.com  AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, BUT IN ANY CASE BY NO LATER THAN MONDAY 23 SEPTEMBER 2024.  This information will also be shared with event organisers from 2024, but please do encourage your club to promote an event.  If you need any further information at this stage, please get in touch with me.
