Junior rider Matthew Gilmour took victory for the hosting club at the Velo Club Venta hill climb on Old Winchester Hill, while Madeline Verdegaal (Brother Uk - Team OnForm) won the women’s event.
Scratch rider Gilmour, aged 17, set the fastest time of four minutes and 48 seconds on the climb, knocking 12 seconds off his winning time last season.
The Old Winchester Hill test saw riders compete over 1.6 miles starting outside Warnford on Hayden Lane before finishing 10 yards before the junction with Old Winchester Hill Lane.
Riders were treated to good conditions with autumn sunshine helping to give a pleasant feel despite the hill climb effort.
Gilmour has finished third in two time trials this season but took victory on his return to the Old Winchester Hill, finishing five seconds clear of his nearest rival.
Matthew Ferguson (Redhill CC) led the chase behind and was the only other rider to break the five-minute mark finishing second in 4-53.
A close battle for third saw Phill Brown (New Forest CC) clock 5-02 which was just two seconds quicker than fastest juvenile Bobby Buenfeld (Velo Club Venta).
In the women’s event Verdegaal completed the course in a winning time of six minutes and 15 seconds.
The 26-year-old, from Christchurch in Dorset, finished second in the same event last season in 6-20 but went one place better and five seconds quicker this time out.
The only other women’s competitor was Emma O’Toole (Nopinz Motip Race Team) who finish second six seconds behind in 6-21.
