Joseph Dobson picked up victory in the Manchester and District TTA 10 event held in Byley, Cheshire on Saturday.

The Manchester Bicycle Club rider tackled the course in 21.18, beating Vision Racing’s Adam Robinson by 13 seconds.

It’s fair to say the win has been coming, Dobson finished on the second step of the podium last time out in the Nova 2-Up TT on March 4.

Robinson took second place by 12 seconds with GS Henley’s Matthew Langridge third in 21.43.

In fourth place with a time of 21.44, Tony Greenhalgh of Onimpex Bioracer was the top veteran and only missed out on the podium by a mere second.

Becky Lewis of Mid Shropshire Wheelers was a comfortable winner in the women’s category with a time of 23.47, while Michelle Fairclough (Salford CC) was second with 27.20 and veteran Jeanette Barber (Seamons CC) another eight seconds back in third.

The juvenile prize went to Tristan Pilling (Middleton CC) in 23.37 and the fastest junior was Daniel Parish (Vision Racing) in 24.35.
