Ryan Morley (RAF Cycling Association) battled heavy rain and up to 40 mph winds to take victory by nearly a minute in the Sportzmad 10 staged near Neath in South Wales.

The far from ideal weather conditions meant only 13 riders started out of the 37 entered on the usually fast  R10/22A course.

The course, which is thought to be the second fastest in South Wales, saw riders battle a headwind down the A465 towards Neath before turning and having a heavy tailwind home.

Morley recorded a time of 20 minutes and 12 seconds which was much slower than the 18.53 he clocked to claim seventh in the Team Jadan 10 earlier this year.

He beat Tim McEvoy (Lanhydrock Wheelers) into second with a 21.04 while Ben Phillips (Bynea CC) finished third clocking 21.21.

Fastest veteran was Christopher Jones (Ride Bike Wales) in 21.24.

More details to follow once we receive them.
