Daniel Bloy (Team Velocity) added another win to his tally by taking a clear victory in the Wisbech Wheelers 25-mile time trial on the B25/6 course.

The 38-year-old has already won the 10 and 25 miles events hosted by King Lynn CC already this season.

The distance specialist recorded a personal best of 49.57 for 25 miles at the end of last season and finished 10th in the RTTC National Championship over 50 miles.

On this occasion Bloy’s time of 52.09 gave him a comfortable victory over veteran Barry Charlton (Swinnerton Cycles) who finished second in 52.34.

Rounding off the podium places was Charlie Nurse (North Norfolk Wheelers) who clocked a time of 52.59.

The women’s competition was the closest of the day with Jennifer McAndrew (Team Jadan) clocking a 1:03.50 to take victory by 10 seconds over Jennifer Smart (VC Norwich).
