Richard Bussell (AeroCoach) took an emphatic victory and set a new course record in the Beacon RCC 25 near Evesham.
The 27-year-old set a blistering time of 19.03 to take a clear victory by over a minute showing the form which also saw him clinch second in round three of the RTTC Classic Series last month.
Behind the runaway winner was Jon Simpkins (Drag2Zero) who clocked 20.23 to lead in the rest of the field with Scott Walker (Team Bottrill) finishing third in 20.36.
The women’s event was a closer encounter with Fiona Prew (Pro Vision Cycle Clothing) knocking 23 seconds off her personal best to take a joint victory in 23.42.
She shared the winner’s prize with Jessica Rhodes Jones (Beacon Roads CC) while Keri Parton (Royal Air Force Cycling Association) finished third in 24.27.
