Start in pull-in (AA box no. 161) approx 25 yds east of and opposite Nantyffin Cider Mill Inn and east of A479 junction. Continue westbound on A40 to Brecon East roundabout (10.92 miles) encircle roundabout taking 4th exit to retrace outbound route on A40 to Bwlch ( 17.38 miles) turn left onto B4560 and continue north through Llangors ( care through village) through Trefeca to Talgarth roundabout (25.35 mile). Take 3rd exit on A479 to start long climb through a series of bends to Pengenffordd (28.46 miles 1084 ft). Continue on A479 on long descent through Cwmdu (32.8 miles, take care), Tretower to Finish in small layby alongside double farm gate and 200 yards before junction with A40 at Nantyffin Cider Mill (opposite the start) 34.5 miles
