start on unclassified road, balne moor, east of a19 at line opposite eastern end of rough layby. proceed eastwards through minor cross roads, heck lane (0.67 miles) on towards pollington where left over canal bridge, following road right then left through the village to minor road just before the motorway bridge (4.36 miles). left then right towards great heck. at large tree junction (6.85 miles) sharp left through village, then left over canal bridge to complete one circuit (7.69 miles). after two more circuits left towards pollington (4th time) to finish at bends sign after railway bridge (25 miles)
