HQ is at the URC church hall halfway between the St Peters Finger pub and the Bakers Arms pub on the B3067.
SIGNING-ON SHEET & RACE NUMBERS: Riders must sign the official signing-on sheet at the event HQ to obtain their race number. Numbers may be exchanged after the event for a drink.
Car Parking is at the St Peters Finger pub or the Bakers Arms pub approx. 100m from the HQ on the B3067. Feel free to thank the management by imbibing or eating there-in. Management would like the car parks clear by 10:30 unless you are using the hostelries for rehydration !
Please take care on this course; there are 3 roundabouts and several entry and exit lanes off the dual carriageway. Riders must not make U-turns on A35, or in vicinity of start or finish. Any rider observed riding in a manner which may jeopardise his or her own safety, the safety of others and the future of the sport will be disqualified and reported.
Poole Fire station Emergency Traffic Lights are in operation at the Holes Bay Roundabout. An observer will be present and any rider going through a red light will be disqualified.? When approaching Bakers Arms roundabout, competitors must keep to the left until they have passed the “Reduce Speed Now†sign on the left, approximately 400m before the roundabout. Observers will be present and offending competitors will be disqualified from the event for dangerous or inconsiderate riding.
A working rear light is asked for in light of likely conditions.
