COURSE DETAILS:
START on east side of metal gate on left in Brockhamhurst Road, 0.19 mile west
of junction
of where Leigh Road
becomes Middle Street, south of Brockham. Go west, continuing on Red Lane to
take
first left where road separates to junction with Blackbrook Road 1.24 1.24 miles
Go left south on Blackbrook Road, continuing on Henfold Lane to junction with
Parkgate Road on north side of Newdigate 2.76 4.00
Go left east on Parkgate Road to Parkgate where left into Broad Lane 1.09 5.09
And head north to Shellwood Road where left on Shellwood Road which 1.17 6.26
becomes Leigh Road to junction with Brockhamhurst Road, where left 1.20 7.46
to the Start to complete one circuit. 0.19 7.65 miles
Continue on a second circuit to
FINISH in Leigh Road at southern edge of Southern Water site, 0.11 mile
south of junction with Brockhamhurst Road. 7.36 15.00 miles

GENERAL NOTES to be included on start Sheets
London South District Regulation: No vehicles, except those of the timekeepers and event officials , shall be parked in the vicinity of the start and finish areas.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS TO BE INCLUDED ON Start Sheets
Competitors are requested not to warm up on the course after the first competitor has started. Details of any Additional Hazards not listed on the Start Sheet will be displayed at the Signing On Point. All Competitors must read these details when they sign on.
No times will be given at the Finish
After finishing Competitors MUST take great care in turning round to return to Start/Finish area.
GUIDANCE NOTES for Event Promoters
Promoters should refer to the GENERIC Risk Assessment and check that all measure to reduce risk have been covered.
Promoters should also complete a SPECIFIC Risk Assessment to identify any additional risks shortly before the event. Contacting the Highways Authority and briefing Competitors at the Signing On Point if necessary. On the day after the event, the Specific
Risk Assessment Sheet/s must be posted to the London South Assistant Secretary (Courses) - see details in CTT Handbook.
Promoters should also be familiar with CTT Regulations and,in particular , the sections “Duties of Promoting Secretaries” and “Abandonment or Postponement of Events” as published in the current CTT Handbook.
Promoters should keep the Entry Forms, Signing On Sheets and Check Cards for one year after the event if there has been no incident in connection with the event and for three years if there has been an incident.

GS/485: Start in Brockhamhurst Road, south of Brockham, 0.19 mile west of Leigh Road/Middle Street junction. Go west via Red Lane to Blackbrook Road where left south via Henfold Lane to north side of Newdigate. Go left east on Parkgate Road to Parkgate where left north via Broad Lane, Shellwood Road and Leigh Road to Brockhamhurst Road where left to the start to complete one circuit. Proceed on a second circuit to Finish in Leigh Road at southern edge of Southern Water site, 0.11 mile south of junction with Brockhamhurst Road, south of Brockham.
