It is with much sadness that we have to report the death of Graham Morris.

Graham, a member of the Altrincham Ravens CC served as National Chairman of the Road Time Trials Council (RTTC) from 1983 to 1993 and as National Treasurer from 1995 to 1996.

He was awarded the Badge of Honour for services to the sport in 1995.

Graham was mainly responsible for turning the RTTC finances around and ensuring that there were sufficient funds for the sport to continue, he was also the driving force in supplying all Districts with computers in the 1990’s.

Graham originally worked in the mines as a surveyor before joining the family engineering company.

Following his retirement and standing down from National and District RTTC work, he spent much of his time playing golf.

It was following a round of golf last weekend that Graham suffered a heart attack and passed away.

Our thoughts are with his wife Mavis and Family.

The funeral of Graham is to be held on Thursday 27th April at 11.20am.
