Weekend preview 19/20 May

The Acme Wheelers 25-mile time trial on Sunday is the hot spot this May weekend. Competition record holder Marcin Bialoblocki (NOPINZ) heads to the R25/3H course once again to attempt to improve on the magnificent 42-58 he recorded on the rapid course. Kieron Davies (Drag2Zero) and Rob Pears (Bath CC) are also present as are Alice Lethbridge (Drag2Zero) and Pfeiffer Georgi (Liv CC-Halo Cycles), in the women’s event.

Other `25s`include the Hitchin Nomads CC with Ashley Cox (Flamme Rouge CT), George Fox (Team Bottrill-Vanguard), Ben Stowe (Arctic-Tacx RT) and the Clarkes, Luke, Steve and Ross (TMG Horizon CT): the VTTA (Notts & East Midlands) with Stuart Travis (Team Bottrill), Jonathan Wears (NOPINZ), Adam  Duggleby (Vive le Velo), Karen Ledger (Team Bottrill) and Sally Withey (Team Swift). On Sunday Duggleby is down for the Bridlington CC `25` along with Richard Sharp (Team Swift). The High Wycombe CC event includes Chris Bartley (AS Test Team) and Liam Maybank (Twickenham CC). Saturday sees Maybank in the ECCA Championship `10`.

Brett Harwood (Team Bottrill) goes for the Northampton & District `10`along with Jon Simpkins (Drag2Zero) while leading woman is Jackie Field (CC Ashwell). Simon Beldon (Team Bottrill), Dan Evans (Adept Cycling) and Adam Hardy (Team Sportslab) go for the Selby CC `10` The Cramlington CC `10` has Carl Donaldson (GS Metro), Harry Walker (Team Swift) and Junior Adam Jarps (Team Bottrill) in their line-up.

The Westbury Wheelers Hardriders `26` has David Janes (Wheels of Dorset-Aero Testing) the scratch man.
