We all have our own performance.

Most of the time, it is a performance from yesterday we want to improve on today. We want to get better at it, understand it better, and work out how to get there with less waste, more focus, and more room to improve.
The HUUB Performance Project is about exactly that. It is about bringing together people from around the world who each have their own performance, their own number, and their own goal. It does not matter how big or how small that number may be, if it matters to you, it matters to us. And we want to share that performance with you. Quite simply, the Performance Project is a club. A club for anyone to join. A club for anyone who wants to chase a goal in swim, bike, or run, whatever that looks like in your world.

  • If you are a runner, you are more than welcome.

  • If you are a swimmer, you are equally welcome.

  • If cycling is your passion, the welcome is exactly the same.

  • And if your sport combines all three, then you are most definitely among friends.

Some members may want to race together, travel together, and take on the pinnacle of their sport. Others may simply want to meet for a jog, a training ride, a swim session, or to finally crack their own number, 5K, 10K, a mile time, a sportive, an open-water swim, whatever it may be. What matters to us is simple: we would like to be part of your performance and part of your number. That is what sport does at its best.

  • It brings people together.

  • It gives us direction.

  • It gives us purpose.

  • And it gives us something to strive for, a number to chase and, hopefully, a number to achieve.

Everyone is welcome to join the HUUB Performance Project. There will be a simple membership fee, plenty of goodies in return, and where needed, association with the governing bodies that allow you to take part in the sports you love

  • We do not have a clubhouse.

  • We do not have a fixed meeting night.

  • But what we do have is community.

We will have social groups where you can connect with others in the Performance Project, find people near you, and perhaps arrange a parkrun, a ride, a swim, or even something more adventurous further afield.

We have been asked why we chose the dog as our mascot. Well, we are afraid that goes back many years to the film American Flyers, where Kevin Costner introduces his new apprentice to a rather memorable cycling training regime, being chased down the street by a dog. We are a little nostalgic here at HUUB, and we loved the idea so much that we introduced our own dog: Fred. We like Fred because, much like sport itself, he can mean different things at different times. Sometimes his face can look a little intimidating, the kind of look that might make you train a bit harder. Other times, he feels warm, welcoming, and exactly the kind of company you want beside you on the journey. And, of course, it helps that we happen to have a friend with a dog called Fred.

We would love you to join the HUUB Performance Project.

We are starting in the United Kingdom and Germany, and within some of those applications we will be asking you to tell us a little about yourself and your goal. Why? Because there may well be scope for more, perhaps free product, free membership, or maybe even a partnership with greater reach. But for now, it is about one thing above all else: Whatever your performance is, bring it with you. Bring your number. Bring your ambition. Bring your story.
And join others who also have a number to achieve and a number to share.
