START approximately half a mile north of Stamfordham on the B6309. Proceed north through Black Heddon on the B6309 until the minor road (on the left) towards Wallridge (signposted Ingoe/Wallridge).  Continue to the crossroads (riders take care). At the crossroads, continue straight over towards  Wallridge, then left towards Ingoe. At the T Junction, turn left towards Matfen.  At the T Junction, turn left towards Stamfordham to FINISH at the small lay-by just beyond the Stamfordham sign and at the 20 MPH speed warning (approximate distance 13.2 miles).
