START (GR TL953149) on B1026 At telegraph pole No. 10, just beyond the former Kings Head public house. Continue for 1 mile to turn left (Straight on) crossing Abberton Reservoir. Go through Layer Breton, Birch and Orpens Hill to junction with B1022 , where turn sharp left (GREAT CARE). Proceed through Tiptree, Great Totham North and Great Totham South, to Heybridge turning left onto B1026 at Triangle roundabout. Continue through Goldhanger and Tolleshunt D'Arcy to turn left at the former Kings Head public house.
