START (GR 004182) at power pole just before field entrance, opposite Pete Tye Farm, on Peldon to Abberton road. Proceed north to Abberton where turn sharp left to Layer-de-la-Haye (1m) GREAT CARE. Proceed west to B1026 (3.7m) where left onto B1026 to former public house (King's Head) 'T' junction with Mersea Road, Gt Wigborough (M & C)(7.5m). Turn left to Gt Wigborough, forking left approaching Peldon village into Church Road to FINISH (GR 986163) at field entrance opposite point at the end of the Green.
