Cockermouth 8m Hilly (Also known as the Higham hilly 9)

Start at end of Layby adjacent to Derwent School Cockermouth proceed in a Southeast Direction over Slatefell and continue on old road adjacent to A66.  After approx 3.5 miles turn left towards Bassenthwaite approximately .25miles take first left to proceed towards Higham Hill and Golf Course (1:8 accent) after cresting hill proceed past Golf Course.  Turn Right (Marshalled Point) on unclassified road towards Cockermouth, proceed towards Cockermouth to finish just short of road junction (just after start)
