START on west side of A6 road at Barton at telegraph point No DP 127 and adjacent to ‘school’ warning sign.

Proceed north along A6 (CAUTION-traffic island at Brock) to Kirkland Bridge where bear left along A586 to St. Michaels to take the first left over the river bridge into Hall Lane.

Continue along unclassified road past Myerscough College to FINISH at west end of the second set of wide field gate openings on south side of road approx. 300 yards from Old Neds tavern. (10 MILES).
