START (GR 001179) on Peldon road, southwest of Abberton, at paint mark 580 yards southwest of sign 'Peldon'. Proceed southwest to Peldon village, where turn left into St Ives Road, then left at triangle (CARE) into Mersea Road. Turn left at Rose PH to Abberton, where turn sharp left at Lion PH and immediately left again into Peldon Road. Continue through start (5.2m) and repeat circuit to FINISH (GR 004183) at 'Peldon' sign on Peldon road.
