The British Best All Rounder (BBAR) and Junior BBAR Competitions are iconic events in British cycling, honouring the most versatile and fastest time trialists across multiple distances. Promoted by Cycling Time Trials, these competitions celebrate dedication and skill.
Competitions
Three Distance BBAR
Based on each rider’s fastest performance on a bicycle or tricycle in eligible events at 50 miles, 100 miles, and 12 hours during the season.
Each performance is calculated in miles per hour (to three decimal places), with the average of the three average speeds determining the ranking.
Four Distance BBAR
Based on each rider’s fastest performance on a bicycle or tricycle in eligible events at 10, 25, 50, and 100 miles during the season.
Each performance is calculated in miles per hour (to three decimal places), with the average of the four average speeds determining the ranking.
Junior British Best All Rounder Competition
Based on each rider’s fastest two performances at 10 miles and fastest two performances at 25 miles in open, semi-open, or association events held on or before September 30.
Each performance is calculated in miles per hour (to three decimal places), with the average of the four average speeds determining the ranking.
