Peak Hill
Headquarters: Sidmouth Sailing Club, The Esplanade, Sidmouth EX10 8BG. Open for signing on from 08:00 hrs on the event day. Showers and changing facilities available. Pasties and hot drinks available free of charge before and after the event. Paid parking to the rear of the club.
Course: The start is at the bus shelter opposite the Bedford car park park on the Esplanade approx 400 metres from the HQ and the route is up Peak Hill road and the finish is at a point close to the second entry to Peak Hill car park at the top of Peak Hill. The distance is 1.7km with an elevation gain of 164 metres, an average gradient of 9.6% and maximum gradient of 23%.
PLEASE NOTE THAT HELMETS AND WORKING FRONT AND REAR LIGHTS ARE MANDATORY AND RIDERS WILL BE DISQUALIFIED IF THEY FAIL TO OBSERVE THESE REQUIREMENTS.
