A friendly cycling club based in Walthamstow, E17 north east London and East London with links to the Lee Valley VeloPark, Statford, E15.

Who we are

Lea Valley was set up in 1969 by the amalgamation of the Crescent Wheelers CC and the Comet CC. The Crescent was founded in 1903 and the Comet in 1904. The club became even older when we incorporated the University CC into Lea Valley in 2000. This explains why some of our records and trophies are older than the Club.

What we do

Lea Valley Cycling Club runs a number of events throughout the year, as well as weekly club rides and our club members are active in races and time trials.
