We a mid-sized club which concentrates mainly on road cycling as a sport to enjoy socially. Some members also ride and compete off-road and these events are often advertised in our weekly communications.

We offer group social rides at different paces every Saturday and Sunday and members also arrange mid-week "fun" training rides.

We also organise time trials over the Spring and Summer seasons. For these TTs, we place a strong emphasis on just simply enjoying something different rather than being terribly serious! We run two Two Ups (team time trials), a Club 10 Championship and a Club 25 Championship, a Hilly 10 and a fantastic season ending Hill Climb up Banks Lane, near Theydon Mount.

Finally, as with all clubs, our activities rely entirely on members occasionally volunteering their time, so this ethos is strongly encouraged.
