A refresher as to how to add Club events on CTT website from Paul Tunnell(Asst Sec Club Events)
Each club is now responsible for uploading your own events.
There are 2 ways of adding your events, either on an individual basis (ideal if you only have a few events) or by adding them into a template and then uploading the template.
Either way, I will then see a list of your events and will check against any events already taking place, your details, in particular for evening events the sunset times. If all is OK I will approve your event. Should there be any issues, I will message you to discuss possible amendments, course, timings, number of riders etc.
SINGLE EVENT
On the sidebar of your login if you scroll down the left hand side, you will see a heading +Add Club Event
Using your mouse click on that. This will provide you with a form to complete with the following fields:
- Club Promoting club
- Name Name of the event eg Wobbly Wheelers evening 10
- Course Course key number plus a brief description eg G10/42 Holmwood
- Backup course If required (this will require an additional police form)
- Description Course description
- Sign on location Please be as descriptive as possible, 2nd bush on right hand side!
- Date Date of the event PLUS time of start. The top numbers change this
- Capacity MAXIMUM Number of riders allowed
- Distance Enter number(This has to be a whole number eg 12, do not include a decimal)
- Distance units Miles/Kilometers/meters (yards is not an option)
- Price Entry fee (There is no option for different fees)
- CHECK BOX Come and try it Tick if the event is a come & try it
- CHECK BOX Allow online entries Tick if you want to allow online entries
- External payment URL Add payment URL if you have one
Then click on SUBMIT in the green bar at the bottom of the screen
