This is a 10 mile time trial held on a military airfield maintained for active use, hence no public access at any other time. Course is the R10/21B, 3 laps of a flat 5.3 km (3.3 mile) circuit using runways and taxiways. There are no cars: just you, the wind, a lot of tarmac and (maybe) some tumbleweed. The surface is smooth tarmac and concrete, though there is a fine surface grit due to absence of road traffic. For security to let you in, we need to have your car and passenger details beforehand. Airfield access is via Gate 21 on the Penycwm road, not via the main Cawdor barracks entrance.
Please put your car make/colour/registration and name all passengers in “Message to Organiser” on the CTT entry page (before you add to basket and go to pay). If you forget, message the organiser before the event with the missing details. Do it for every event please, even if you've been many times before. If you only remember on the day, then you'll have to park outside and cycle in.
The next round will open the day after the previous event.
