Tony Chapman secured his second consecutive victory at the Swindon Road Club 50-mile time trial on 20 July 2025, clocking 1:52:17 for Frome and District Wheelers. Corinne Clark topped the women's category with 2:18:36 for Chippenham and District Wheelers amid wet conditions in Wiltshire.
Chapman followed his Bristol South CC 50 win on 5 July with another strong performance, outpacing Joel Hyde (Pronto Bikes Ltd) by over five minutes. William Haynes (Cheltenham and County Cycling Club) took third and was the fastest open road bike rider.

Clark earned back-to-back wins, battling back issues and rain to edge Heidi North (360VRT). North was the quickest female road bike rider.
Clark said: “It was a very wet day out on the bike and I am struggling with back problems at the moment but of course I am really happy to take the win.”

Course and Event Details The U86/50 course is a looped circuit starting south of Minety, heading west on the B4040 towards Malmesbury, south to Burton Hill, east past Brinkworth, and north at the M4 junction to complete circuits, finishing south of the start after three loops.
