Q25/15James Skulczuk (Gravesend CC) claimed his first victory of the 2025 season at the Ramsay Cup 25-mile time trial on 21 July 2025, posting 56:42 on a road bike. Agnes Rogers (Southborough & Dist. Whs) topped the women’s category with a time of 1:19:36.
Open Category Highlights and Results
James Skulczuk narrowly outpaced John Rogers (Southborough & Dist. Whs) by five seconds to secure the win, with Paul Burrows (Thanet RC) taking third. Skulczuk commented: “There was a last-minute course change due to road works, so we raced on the Q25/15 course. The constant undulations and absence of flat sections made it tough to settle into. With heavy rain forecast, we were racing the weather as well as the clock, but fortunately it stayed dry.” Douglas Tulett (Thanet RC) was the fastest junior with 1:01:30. Southborough & Dist. Whs (Agnes Rogers, John Rogers, Paul McDaid) won the team prize with a combined time of 3:17:58.
