Welwyn Wheelers 10 mile time trial 2026.
A series of 6 events running weekly from 2nd June to 7th July 2026. Start is on the Old Coach Road at Cole Green between Welwyn Garden City and Hertford. Meet at 6.50pm with the first rider off at 7.15.
This is a "come and try it" event open to riders from other clubs and to non affiliated riders. Preferred entry is via the CTT website. CTT entries close at midnight on the Monday prior to the event. Entries on the day of the event up to the start time via MyClubhouse.
Welwyn club riders will gain points per event with best four events counting for prizes. £25 prize for best overall on points in each of four categories: Open/Female and Youth /Senior.
Instructions to riders: After passing timekeeper on third/final lap, continue on course for at least 100m. Safely cross carriageway taking care not to impede other riders on the course who may still be racing (no U-turns – dismount), the ride back to Cole Green. Please return your number to our timekeepers. Helmets are compulsory as are front and rear lights. General Guidance: Please do not park on or around Cole Green or on the course. If travelling by car, park away from Cole Green and ride to and from the start/finish area. No following cars or following (parent) riders are permitted.
U18 riders:Parental Guidance forms (one form per season) are required for all U18s, irrespective of whether they have ridden in previous years. Please download from https://cyclingtimetrials.org.uk/forms/CTT_Parental_Consent.pdf and complete for each U18 rider before the event; bring a hard signed copy to the first event ridden.
