This event is open to all riders, either mixed or same gender teams using a handicap system.
Each rider will be provided a time bonus depending on factors such as age or para cycling classification (paracyclists are provided their normal age bonus plus an additional para cycling bonus). Please note for CTT events age is on day of race (not year).
For example, Team 1 is made up of two M 19-39 riders: they receive no time bonus. Team 2 is made up of a M 50-59 rider and a W 50-59 rider, they receive a 1min20sec bonus for the M 50-59 rider, and a 4min30sec bonus for the W 50-59 rider, a total of 5min50sec. Therefore Team 2 would beat Team 1 if they rode 5min49sec slower than Team 1.
