UC867Veteran Bath CC rider Rob Pears took victory in the Yeovil CC 10 held in Podimore, Somerset on Sunday morning.
Pears, a former National Champion over this distance in the veteran category, once again showed his quality with a fine ride which saw him cover the distance in 20.21.
His ride made him a comfortable winner with Mid Devon CC rider Andrew Perkins 17 seconds down in 20.38, placing him second on the podium.
Riding for T1 Diatbete.info, Jon Wynn completed the top three just one second behind Perkins in 20.39.
Nicki Carr, riding for VC Equipe, finished as top woman. Her time of 24.18 placed her 24th overall.
Wiebke Rietz of 1st Chard Wheelers was second woman and in third it was Sarah Lakey of Mid Devon CC in 25.52.
