Start at end of the tarmacked layby on the westbound side of A40 in Llangadog. Grid Reference: SN 69268 28470. Proceed south west along A40 passing through Monordeilo and Rhosmaen to Llandeilo.

At Llandeilo (course turning point) encircle the roundabout (3rd exit) to retrace route north east via Rhosmaen and Manordeilo to finish approximately 0.1 miles short of the start.

Finish at drain approx 20 metres short of the “Red Kite Feeding Station” sign and opposite the driveway to the stone farmhouse. Grid Reference: SN 69094 28360.
