J4/31 Byley - A50 - B5082 - A556 - King Street - Middlewich - Byley circuit (31 miles)

START – At yellow surveyors disc in Middlewich Rd Cranage - start approx 50 yards after junction exit for Kings Lane & opposite 1st gate post into field on right - Proceed to:-
A50 Cranage. 0.221 miles Turn left and next left at :- Northwich Rd 0.727 miles Proceed along the B5082 and continue to the junction of the:- A556 4.913 miles Turn left and left again at King St Island and proceed down King St to:-
T/Lights at Centurian Way 8.669 miles Where turn left in filter lane (give way), then left at next island, then turn next left into:-.
B5081 Byley Road 9.230 miles Continue down B5081 to end of lane and at give way turn left (watch for riders coming from left) at:-
3 Greyhounds Public House 12.158 miles Repeat circuit to A556, King Street, Centurian Way, B5081& turn left at:-
3 Greyhounds Public House 22.373 miles Continue along B5082 and proceed to the junction of the:-
A556 25.343 miles Turn left and left again at King St Island and proceed down King St to:-
T/Lights at Centurian Way 29.099 miles Where turn left in filter lane (give way), then left at next island, then turn left into:-
B5081 Byley Road 29.660 miles Continue along B5081 to:-
Finish 30.909 miles On B5081 at middle of manhole cover immediately after right turn to Coates Ind. Est. at end of Byley Straight.
NOTES NO parking at start or finish other than timekeepers vehicles, no matter how brief.
Special care to be taken at junctions of the A556 dual carriageway and at 3 Greyhounds corner where later starting teams may be approaching from the right. Hazards to be highlighted in course risk assessment and multiple marshalls to be used at these junctions to warn riders of potential hazards.
