Chant and Loh top the podium on the Isle of Wight

Kevin Chant and Anne Loh were the fastest male and female respectively at the Wightlink-Wight Mountain Time Trail Series 10 which took place near Yarmouth on the Isle of Wight.

Chant (Wightlink-Wight Mountain RT) clocked a time of 21-16 to top the overall standings and claim his third victory out of the four rounds of the series so far.

The 30-year-old home club rider improved his time from the previous round by 13 seconds where he also topped the podium with a time of 21-29 in mid-July.

Anne Loh (Team Spy) finished top of the podium in the women’s event respectively after finishing her run with a time of 26-52.

She also topped the podium in the previous round of the series when she finished with a slightly faster time of 25-51 and a ninth-place overall finish.

The 52-year-old will be hoping to carry her winning form over the remainder of the series and secure the overall title.

Clint Oliver (Wighlink-Wight Mountain RT) finished in second with a time of 22-15.

Oliver also finished second in round one of the series when he clicked a time of 21-46, and is next set to ride in the final round on the 31st of August where he will be hoping to go one better and top the overall standings.

James Veal (Wightlink-Wight Mountain RT) finished in third with a time of 22-29 respectively.

In the tandem event Allan and Ewan Cook (West Wight Wheelers) topped the podium after finishing with a time of 2-27.
