Pairing Adam Duggleby (Vive Le Velo) and Alexander Royle (Manchester Bicycle Club) won the Warrington RC two-up 25 by almost four minutes in Cheshire on Saturday.

The event saw 21 teams battle it out on the J2/9 loop south of Knutsford, with one-and-a-half laps making up the 25 miles.

Duggleby, who finished third in the National 10-Mile Championships last month, was joined by Royle, who recently won The Racing Chance Foundation 25 last month, clocking 51.44 on that occasion.

With Duggleby joining him the pairing went even faster clocking a winning time of 50 minutes and four seconds.

Taking second place were Ronnie Coleman (TS Racing Team- OTR) and Stephen Feeney (Team Chronomaster) in 53.53 while the 3C Payment Sports pairing of Phil Land and Steven Filder finished third (55.43).
