Sudbourne in Suffolk hosted the Godric CC 50-mile event and it was Mark Richards of VC Baracchi who took the top prize, completing in a time of 1:53.39.
Team Velovelocity occupied the next two steps of the podium with Andrew Leggett and Paul Jay finishing second and third respectively. Leggett stopped the clock at 1:54.08 and Paul Jay at 1:55.00.
Verity Smith of Stowmarket and District CC broke her own course record to top the women’s category.
The veteran rider had already set a quick time in the same event last year but went even quicker this time out with a time of 2:08.15.
