Teenager George Evans of Team Bottrill took first place by just four seconds in the Mid Shropshire Wheelers 10-mile event held near Telford on Saturday.
His time of 20.39 was enough to secure top step on the podium although Sam Williams of Wyre Forest CRC pushed him close with a time of 20.43.
Matthew Garthwaite of Rhino Velo Race Team was third with 21.12, 29 seconds down on Williams.
The home club had winners in the veteran and women’s categories with Craig Bell fifth overall in 22.22 and Jennifer York clocking a time of 25.35.
