Gray and Leech take 2-Up prize

Josh Gray and Michael Leech of Tor2000-Kalas were the winners of the winners in the Somerset Road Club 2-Up held in Axbridge on Saturday.

They completed in a time of 22.14, enough to place them ahead of Mark Bradley and Andrew Legge of Bristol South CC who stopped the clock at 22.34.

Third prize had to be shared as Jon Kettell and Paul Barratt of First Chard Wheelers and Andy Winterbottom and Clive Frankling of the host club both got a time of 22.55.

In the composite category, Ashley Martin (Tor2000/Kalas/Whitelake/Scorpion) and George Fowler (NFTO Pro Cycling) were clear winners with a time of 20.34.

Laurence Douglas-Greene (SRC/Bicycle Chain) and Charlie Powell (Tor2000/Kalas/Whitelake/Scorpion) were second with 21.49.

The first women’s team was Clair Wadden (Bristol RC) and Emma Sainsbury-Munn (VC St Raphael) in 26.07.
