In-form time trial ace Dean Robson (Nopinz) secured victory in the University of Bristol CC 10 near Stone in Gloucestershire on Saturday, racing to the top of the podium with 20.41 to win by 30 seconds.

The 29-year-old from Taunton in Somerset, who has already won the Wrekinsport CC and Lanhydrock Wheelers time trials this season, added another victory to his list of 2016 results with a strong performance.

He held off Team Bottrill’s Billy Oliver for the win, while third spot went to over-50 veteran Steven Cottington (Bath CC0 who was just four seconds further adrift.

Bristol Cycling Development Squad duo Charlie Kelly and Morgan Curle were first and second juniors respectively with 23.59 for Charlie and Morgan finishing just nine seconds slower, while Claire Hann (Bristol and District Triathletes) was fastest female with 25.26, giving her victory in that category by more than a minute from Marianne Britten (VC St Raphael).
