Andy Jackson of SSLL Nopinz added yet another victory to his impressive record with top spot in the 34-mile event organised by A5 Rangers on Saturday.
With the race running into increasing amounts of traffic in recent years, the course was made two miles longer and altered with an extra hill for riders to contend with.
But in good, warm conditions, it was Jackson who coped best, riding home in a time of 1:19.26. Brett Harwood of Terry Wright Cycles was in second place with 1:20.54.
Team Bottrill’s James Perkins was third in a time of 1:22.35 and he also took home the team prize, combining with Gareth Pymm who finished in seventh overall.
