HQ – Old Heathcote School Community Centre. 81 King St, Tiverton EX16 5JJ – 01884 251155
Please allow 15 minute to reach the start line from the HQ.
Exit HQ turn left on to King St, turn Right on to Wellbrook St, turn first Left on to Leat St and continue to take the 2nd exit on RA signed Bampton (past Morrisons) and 1st exit at RA signed Bampton. Take 2nd exit on the A361 RA (CAUTION HIGHSPEED ROAD) and continue 0.3 miles to the start.
Course description
Start on the A396 0.3 miles north of the junction with the A361, at a mid-point in the near side lay-by that is level with the telephone post situated on the opposite side of the road. Proceed north through Bolham village. Continue along the A396 through Cove village. Take the first exit at the Exeter Inn roundabout (4.9m). Continue along A396 to Black Cat (6.6m). Turn RIGHT CAUTION to pass in front of the Black Cat filling station. Cross the B3227 with CAUTION to continue north along the A396. Continue with CAUTION SHARP RIGHT TURN through Exebridge along the A396 for 2.5miles to Machine Cross. Turn RIGHT with CAUTION and Give Way and turn RIGHT and Give Way at IMMEDIATE LEFT (traverse triangle junction) re-joining the A396 South. Continue to Black Cat (17.1m) STOP SIGN, riders must STOP and check that it is safe to proceed before doing so. Cross the B3227 and re-join the A396. Take the 2nd exit (signed Tiverton) at the Exeter Inn round a bout and continue through Cove and Bolham CAUTION to finish at a point adjacent to the start point.
Riders must continue without stopping to the HQ.
