TO THE START FROM THE HQ
Turn right outside of the HQ then right at the first roundabout. Continue for one mile crossing the canal to a T-junction at Orgreave. Turn right on to the A513 towards Alrewas and the A38. The start is on the left two miles further on at the canal bridge. You should allow 20 minutes to ride to the start from the HQ.
NUMBERS
Numbers and Sign On will be at the HQ. Exchange your number for a free drink after the event.
After the finish riders must turn left in 100 yards into Fine Lane at a tight corner just past the Fradley Arms. Turn left again and proceed over the A38 flyover to Fradley village. Turn left to the HQ which is just past the church on the right. The Highways Agency have specially requested that riders do not stop in the lay-by on the A38 at the finish.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
IN THE INTERESTS OF YOUR OWN SAFETY Cycling Time Trials and the Event Promoter strongly advise you to wear a HARD SHELL HELMET that meets an internationally accepted safety standard. In accordance with CTT Regulation 15 ALL JUNIOR competitors must wear a Hard Shell Helmet.
It is recommended that a working red rear light, either flashing or constant, is fitted to your machine in a position visible to following road users and is active while the machine is in use.
Please keep talking to a minimum at the finish and shout your number out quietly so as not to upset the dogs at ‘Jesfire’.
