COURSE L827 (The Struggle) START on Kirkstone road at north end of small lay by (disabled) just before junction with Kirkstone close on the outskirts of Ambleside. Proceed along Kirkstone road up ‘The Struggle’ hill (care on short descent) to finish at start of painted give way sign on road approximately 20 yards before the junction with A592. (2.67miles, 1175ft ascent)
