This event is being run on the L259 course.
START at the north end of Calthwaite village after junction for minor road signposted Fieldhead, approximately 600 yards north of the Globe Inn, Calthwaite, on unclassified Calthwaite - Carlisle road (GR 406465). Proceed north to Beck House Farm (4.765 miles),where left on minor road to the Crown Inn (5.802 miles) to turn left ( GIVE WAY) on to C1036 Carlisle - Hutton End road. Continue south to Hutton End (11.411 miles) where left on unclassified road signposted Calthwaite. Continue to junction in Calthwaite village (13.054miles), where turn left (GIVE WAY), through village taking care through double bends and residential area on both sides of the road with parked cars. Pass through the start area (13.400) miles to start second circuit - Beck House Farm (18.167 miles), Crown Inn (19.204 miles), Hutton End (24.820 miles) where left on unclassified road to FINISH by the signpost opposite the junction with the lane signposted Hutton Row & Grassknop (25.02 miles).
