Start on the A377 in the lay-by outside the entrance to Kings Nympton Railway Station and at a point level with the railway station sign (GR SS 169663)
Proceed Northwest passing the Portsmouth Arms and Umberleigh to Bishops Tawton. On entering Bishops Tawtontake the second turning on the right after passing the garage (GR SS 299568) – Take great care when crossing the traffic flow – proceed and bear left at Village Street. At the next junction turn sharp left with care and downhill and then left again back onto the A377. Retrace outward route through Umberleigh and past the Portsmouth Arms continue South West passing by Kings Nympton Railway Station, Eggesford, Lapford and onto Morchard Road. On entering Morchard Road take the left turning signposted Morchard Bishop just after the Devonshire Dumpling pub (50°49'47.7"N 3°46'29.6"W) – Immediately turn right at the end of the grass traffic island and then rejoin the A377. Take great care when crossing the traffic flow – proceed and turn right onto the A377 and retrace outward route through Lapford, Eggesfordand finish just past the Kings Nympton Railway Station level with Riverside Cross
The finish point is at Riverside Cross (50°93 59.6"N 3°90'497"W)
Race HQ and Toilets
For both 25’s and the 50 the HQ is Chumleigh Village Hall. There is plenty of parking at the hall. Please be aware that to the Kings Lympton start point is 3.5 miles and to Portsmouth Arms start 6.3miles. Unless notified there is parking available at Portsmouth Arms, but this is not the race HQ.
