ENGLAND
As most will be aware, the government has announced that England will move to the final stage of easing Covid restrictions on 19 July 2021.   This means almost all legal restrictions on social contact will be removed.

So far as time trials are concerned, the practical changes will affect event HQs (with result boards etc) and the ‘pusher off’.

The CTT Covid-19 risk assessment has been amended to reflect these changes.  The amended risk assessment is on the CTT website under the COVID-19 tab on the homepage.

SCOTLAND & WALES
There is no change to the risk assessment for events in Scotland or Wales.

It is understood that in Scotland, the Covid-19 restrictions will be lifted with effect from 9 August; and that in Wales, the restrictions will be lifted with effect from 7 August.  It is anticipated that the risk assessment for events in both Scotland and Wales will be updated when further details are confirmed.

Please remember:
The threat of Covid-19 and the risk of infection does still remain.  If you are not well or showing signs of Covid-19 then please do not attend at any CTT event.
